plug-in download trouble

OK. Am pascal to all who dont know yet..I just got told there was some summer Chgemistry HW to be done so am quite busy at the moment..I have signed for the coursecompass, registered the textbook site thing...I cant take taht quiz until I download that plugg in but when I downloaderd it, safari said it couldnt open it because it cant find an application..anyone know what that means? I am using a MAC btw..please do get to me as soon as possible

2 places for online assignments

Well,
If you haven't already figured it out, there are two places where I
will be giving you online assignments. The PH GradeAssist site is
where I will be assigning homework predominantly, and the
CourseCompass site is where I will be giving you miscellaneous
quizzes, tests, etc. can get to GradeAssist from CourseCompass. I
hope you've got it figured out by now, but I'll be sure to indicate
where your assignment is when I give you one. Hope its going well and
I look forward to seeing your progress.

Install the TestGen Plugin

I have a short assignment for you; it involves installing a browser
plugin and then taking a quiz. The quiz is only 5 questions, should
take you about 5 minutes, and if you score above 60% I'll give you a
100%. Not a bad deal.
Here's what you need to do:
1) go to http://wpslive.pearsoncmg.com/cmg_student_testgen_1 and
install the TestGen 7.3 plugin. You MUST have windows 2000, xp or
NT- i think vista will work but its not indicated. In other words,
it won't work if you use windows 98; of course, if you use that you
have bigger problems.

2)restart your browser after the installation, go to the
coursecompass site and find the "Chapter 1 Introductory Quiz". Take
this quiz, and then submit when you're finished.

That's it! This won't take you long, so please do it asap. Thanks!

Are Your Assignments Available Now?

Well, someone mentioned that there was difficulty finding the
assignments at PH GradeAssist site. I've made a few changes, so
check back and let me know if they appear available now. You might
only see Chp.1 assignment, as you can't complete chp.2 until chp.1 is
finished and the same w/chp.3.
